There is a
mansion near my house, surrounded by woods. I'm not sure of the
history of this
mansion, but it's old. For my entire life, this mansion has been a
local park to
walk,
sled,
bike,
ride horses,
run, and listen to summer
concerts. Recently, this has become a part of of
Allegheny County, that is
Pittsburgh,
parks system.
Probably the most fun activity is
sledding. There is a
hill that is the
steepest slope around. Apart from being
steep, there are ridges running sideways along the hill. These are perfect to build jumps on, and of course, my friends and I built the "
Jump of Death." This jump was not very big, it was just built right before a drop. Armed with an
intertube, my friends and I managed to do
flips,
spins, and other
dare devil tricks off this jump.
