Hobbiton is the fictional town where Bilbo and Frodo Baggins lived in the Lord of the Rings trilogy and The Hobbit by author J.R.R. Tolkien.

Based in the semi-autonomous country called The Shire, it was a comfortable and relaxing place, filled with farmers and shops overlooked by The Hill, where Bilbo's house was carved into the rock at Bag End.

Hobbiton was, unsurprisingly, filled with mostly hobbits or halflings, short yet comfortably round folks who were less interested in the outside world and more dedicated to drinking and eating than anything else.
