1938-1994. From Cincinnati. First gained 60s fame via anti-Vietnam protests at UC Berkeley, eventually getting more attention than
bargained for, as one of the Chicago 7. In the 70s, he was a charter
member of the "Me Decade", his follies documented in the autobiography
Growing (Up) at 37. He became an entrepreneur and apologist for greed; there were silly "Yippie vs. Yuppie" debates on the lecture circuit with old pal Abbie Hoffman. It paid well.
