Lupinus succulentus is a lupine found in the coastal mountains of California. It grows in somewhat dry areas and has succulent leaves. As far as i can tell, the name is pronounced 'Lu-Penis Suck-You-Lentus. Plant Nerds have a weird sense of humor. (by the way so do geologists, there is a rock called 'cummingtonite') Anyway, there are also plants called Trifolium hirtum and Trifolium fucatum...
