Rena Lanford is one of the two possible
main characters in
Star Ocean: The Second Story,
Claude Kenni being the other. Rena was found as a
toddler in
Shingo Forest, near the village of
Arlia on the
continent of
Cross on
Expel. Along with her mysterious
origins, she also has a mysterious
power: she can heal
wounds, an ability no
Expellian Heraldic wizard can duplicate. Furthermore, she uses this
ability and her other
magic without the aid of Heraldic
tattoos. And as if she wasn't already enough of an
enigma, she also is the bearer of a popular
console RPG cliché, the
mysterious pendant...
