Designation of an asteroid that the
IAU this week
predicted has a 1 in 500 chance of hitting the earth
on
September 21, 2030, a Saturday.
The asteroid had a diameter of about 70 meters.
It might be a discarded Saturn rocket or
a deadly lump of iron racing towards us to deliver
asteroid destruction over a limited area of the earth.
It was spotted using the Canada France telescope
on Manua Kei in Hawaii.
