born: March 22, 1942 -- died October 28, 2001

An original Merry Prankster. Sandy Lehman-Haupt, whose bus name was Dismount -- because of his propensity to get off the bus and run into a fast food place every time they stopped.

Also known as Sound Man, because he did the sound recordings and hooked up the microphones and speakers for top to bottom communications on the bus.

He met Ken Kesey in November 1963 in New York at the opening of the stage version of One Flew Over the Cuckoo's Nest.

He was a pitcher for the Pranktown Busriders.

We'll miss you Dismount!
