An automobile security system which consists of a couple steel bars which can be locked to the steering wheel, making the vehicle undrivable until the device is removed, because it limits the extent that the wheel can be turned. Designed to provide an additional lock more secure than the ones on the doors, and not electrically bypassable like the starter lock.

a nodeshell rescue

Unfortunately, the Club is really quite ineffective as anything other than a visible deterrent.

A car's steering wheel is made of lightweight metal so that it bends with a body in case of impact in an accident. This makes it very easy to cut through with either a hacksaw or bolt cutters.

Make a single cut in the steering wheel, slip the Club off the wheel, start the car and go... The whole process takes about 60 seconds longer with The Club than it does without it. That's not enough for me.
