The Frail is Track 3 on the first disc of Nine Inch Nails's "The Fragile." The song is a quiet instrumental featuring only a piano for the majority of the song (although a noise synth fades in towards the end of the song, both adding to the song and helping the transition to the next track.) The score to this song is extremely simple, yet the song holds a certain inexplicable beauty and fits into the album quite well. Additionally, A live version of this song appears on "And All That Could Have Been." (track 5)
