  • 1967- at WFMU, a listener-sponsored station in East Orange, New Jersey, he pioneered "free form radio", which has been his area ever since
  • 1969 to 1970- at WBAI
  • 1970 to 1971- at WABC / WPLJ
  • 1973 to 1982- at WNEW
  • 1985 to 1996- at WXRK, hosted a show newly named Idiot's Delight
  • 1996 to 2001- at WNEW, hosted Idiot's Delight weekly
  • 2001- at WFUV, public radio from Fordham University, hosts Idiot's Delight weekly

1Brahma tells me that Bob Fass from WBAI was the "Father of Free Form Radio", with Radio Unameable in 1962, and that he can still be heard at midnight Thursdays at www.wbai.org.
