The part of the show that starts as soon as the curtain comes down. The actors or musicians are relaxing in the dressing room, or on their way home. The crowd is filing out the door. The stagehands and roadies are still on the middle of their day.

The entire set has to come apart, all the props, costumes, and other bits have to go into boxes, and it all has to get loaded onto trucks in the right order. For some reason people will line up at the stage door to watch this process.

Maybe it's all the fault of Jackson Browne, who gave the load out it's 15 minutes of fame by writing a song about it.
