A kind of ice pop or popsicle available in
Mexico and increasingly in the cities of North America during
summer.
A paleta (literally, "a trowel") consists of a frozen, spade-shaped bar of water or milk, fruit, sugar or honey, and sometimes other flavorings, with a wooden or plastic stick as a handle. The ingredients are puréed in a blender and then frozen.
