A skateboarding trick in which the board rotates 180 degrees parallel to the ground, while the rider maintains his (or her) direction. If a skateboarder is riding regular foot with the nose pointing forward, after completing the shove-it they will still be riding regular foot, but the board will now be rolling tail-first.

Technically, a shove-it should be performed without an ollie. If the tail hits the ground during a shove-it, it is called a pop shove-it.
