The Maxx

Great comic book(up through issue 20) and a great cartoon. After issue 20 the series became a bit too distubingly the writer's attempt at self therapy. The cartoon only covers issues 1-10 of the comic.

The main character, The Maxx, is apparently a homeless guy dressed in a purple outfit. He alternates between being in the real world and a dream world where he protects the Jungle Queen, who happens to look like his social worker Julie.

Or maybe he's not the main character after all...Maybe he's a bunny! Note:This makes sense if you're seen The Maxx

Little known fact: The voice actors that play The Maxx and Julie on the MTV series were hired by Blizzard to do the voices of the Warrior and the Rogue, respectively, for the first Diablo computer game.
