A Yiddish word meaning pleasingly plump; it is generally used to mean that a woman is at least slightly 'overweight', but that it is sexy.
It comes from the Yiddish zaftik, which literally means 'juicy' and itself is derived from the German saftig. As with many Yiddish words, the spelling may be highly variable.
