Pud is the man in charge of Fucked Company, the popular dot-com deadpool. He's the guy who puts new posts (called 'Fucks') into the database which spawn their own 'Happy Fun Slander Corners' (message boards). He also scores each 'Fuck' so that users can obtain points by 'investing' in dying companies.
Pud is alternately loved and hated by FC readers, slander-corner trolls, and others with way too much time on their hands.
Pud is also a weekly comic strip published in The Oakville Beaver, the curiously named local paper of Oakville, Ontario, Canada. It deals with typical family life in a similar vein as For Better Or For Worse, only without the depth of story or character. The kid in it is named Pud.
