The Dreamer
Lucid are the
dreams
Of the
man in slumber’s
prison
His
mind ripped at the seams,
By the
waters tinted
crimson
Tumbling down comes the
hopes
To escape the
maze
With which the
dreamer copes
While locked in night’s
haze
Falling into short
eternity
Slipping into random
fate
Ending in known
infinity
Peace of
mind, the elusive state
Strong is the written
word
Stronger is the living dream
Reading into the
majestic bird
Takes you no closer to it’s
gleam
Dawn sends in
blinding light
Securing the end of the dreamer’s
blight.
