Role-playing game based on
George Lucas'
Star Wars universe -- specifically
Episode IV,
Episode V, and
Episode VI, but may soon be expanded to include
Episode I,
Episode II, and
Episode III. Until recently, published by
West End Games. They had
financial problems, though, and lost the
license.
Lucasfilm awarded the license to
Wizards of the Coast, which may or may not be a
Good Thing.
The West End Games system uses six-sided dice exclusively. Each of six attributes has a die code and several skills. The skills can be improved with character points. Players roll the appropriate die code to attempt to beat either a difficulty number set by the Game Master, or an opponent's skill roll.
Playing Jedi characters is very difficult, but can be very rewarding.
