nation.
Vodka is supposedly the national drink of Russia. It's also said to be the national drink of Poland, but others say the national drink of Poland is mead. Presumably the national drink of France is wine.
A national drink does not have to be alcoholic. I can easily imagine Coca-Cola paying a small nation to declare Coke the national drink.
