Tonight, Sunday May 6, 2001 at Lang Park in Brisbane the first of 3 matches of Rugby League was played. Queensland Won! Coming out from the underdog position (as they normally do), the Cane Toads stomped the Cockroaches 34 to 16. In what was a fantastic game the Queenslanders ended up coming home easily, setting them up in a good position to win the series. Game 2 is on the June 10, 2001 and the Blues will need to win then to stay in the series.
