Super Bowl XIII|Super Bowl XV
January 20, 1980
Pittsburgh quarterback Terry Bradshaw earned his second straight Super Bowl MVP by passing for more than 300 yards and leading his team to their second straight victory, this time over Los Angeles, 31-19. Pittsburgh also ended its dynasty as the NFL's team of the 70s with this championship win.
The game went back and forth, thanks to a good Rams defense and the arm of Rams QB Vince Ferragamo, but the Steelers prevailed with 2 unanswered scores in the fourth quarter.
Pittsburgh coach Chuck Noll took home his fourth Super Bowl trophy, the team's last. Coach Ray Malavisi headed up the Rams efforts. Attendance was 103,985.
