One of the more
amusing road signs I've seen recently. Since
people apparently can't see the big fat white
stop line on the
road right before an
intersection, they've had to put this sign in to tell the idiots where to stop. Have you ever seen people stop on red so far into an intersection that they're about three inches from the path of cross-traffic? It's
scary. Of course, the newfangled sign doesn't help much when it's a very
wide road and the sign is way off to the right where it's hard to see.
Soon red and green lights won't be enough for traffic signals; we'll have to put in signs that say "STOP ON RED, GO ON GREEN" at every single intersection.
