Dream Log: August 6, 2000 (idea) by break

A restless night due to the heat, with no consistency in the dreaming. There were two strange flashes involving cats:

My mother had bought the family a new pet: a big, gray cat. Instead of purchasing a kitten, she had gone for an older one. When I looked at it climbing on our sofa, I noted its body was unusually long.
A weird small creature was flying outside our dining room window. It looked exactly like a black and white kitten, except for the wings. We stood there watching it from behind the glass and wondered what it could be.
