Inferno - Canto XXVIII, this commonly known as
bowels or
colon. This is described because the
victim is cut in various pieces because they caused
schism in the
real world.
Of course, this being Hell, these people don't die, but live eternal life in pain. Mahomet/Mohammed is the most notable person in this part of Hell.
Not only those who cause strife are included here. This area of hell is also the place where people who would lose their head if weren't attached to their shoulders go to when they die.
