I'm a masochist. This has finally expanded to college. I was strangely posessed to sign up last minute for a history class, the subject I hate, over my short break. I now have 12 classes to learn 3 centuries of information.

I tried to make the best of it. I came home from the first class, made some hot chocolate, and began to read the 116 pages within 24 hours. I soon realized the problem.

Somehow the book was not proofread. It is filled with typos, references to quotes that do not exist, and some not-so-factual-information.

I have been required to pay 89 dollars for "Voices of Freedom Volume 1" by Eric Foner. Next time I think I will spend my money on something a bit more enjoyable; perhaps some sort of torture room?
