Godfather of Jennifer Aniston, Telly is best remembered as Lt. Theo Kojak from the TV show Kojak. He also was in a number of movies, including Birdman of Alcatraz, for which he received a Best Supporting Actor nomination.
Being younger, I remember seeing Telly in commercials for The Players Club, a credit card for Vegas swingers.
