"All for one and one for all" or, in French, "tous pour un, un pour tous", is the motto of the three characters (Athos, Porthos and Aramis) in the classic 1844 novel, "The Three Musketeers" by Alexandre Dumas. The phrase will often also be seen as, "One for all, all for one".

It has come to be commonly used by groups and/or organizations as a statement of reciprocal solidarity. In other words, the individual should act for the benefit of the group and the group should act in the best interests of the individual. The same saying, translated into Latin thus, "Unus pro omnibus, omnes pro uno", has become the unofficial motto of the country Switzerland.
