People who speak before thinking downright piss me off.
I got into an argument with a girl that I'm quite fond of last night after she told me that I have to care about myself before I can care about anyone else.
Let's get this straight... is she trying to tell me that when you put someone before you, you DON'T care about them? If a father had to give up a vital organ for his son and dies in the process, does that mean that the father doesn't care about his son? If he cared about himself, then his selfishness wouldn't allow him to even THINK about giving up an organ, much less a vital one. But, if he puts his son before himself, keeping in mind the consequences, does that mean that he doesn't love his son?
Remember : Just because you heard it on TV, that doesn't mean that you have to live by it.
