Ziggy Marley is the oldest son of the legendary musician Bob Marley. His father taught him to play guitar and drums, and he became involved in his his father's music at the age of 10. He was nicknamed Ziggy because he was a great fan of David Bowie.
He has released a number of albums with the help of his band, The Melody Makers, of which his brothers and sisters are members:
The message of freedom and equality for all in his music is one of the most inspirational I've heard from a musician anywhere.
