MIT 6.001), as well as other,
Scheme-based courses.
Alyssa P. Hacker (a pun on "A LISP hacker") is used to demonstrate the correct approach to solving problems, while her counterpart, Ben Bitdiddle, is used to demonstrate flawed designs. Sometimes, very rarely, Alyssa will be seen in the company of Alice and Bob, of cryptographic fame.
