Shortened to
BvB, Borussia Dortmund is one of the most exciting teams of the
Bundesliga, with
premiership wins in 95-96, 94-95, 62-63, 56-57 and 55-56. The team colours are Black and Yellow.
On a
personal note, while my friend and I were in west Germany, we decided to attend a
Bundesliga match between BvB and
Hamburg SV (
HSV for short). It was one of the best games of Soccer I have ever seen. The action was fast, the players were
talented and the crowd was great.
BvB won 1-0, yet
Hamburg's spirit was not crushed, they got up with their heads held high and left the field in an ordely manner.
