Probably the fastest SUV ever made, the GMC Typhoon is a rare, limited edition vehicle released in 1992. It's a pretty impressive machine with 280bhp propelling the vehicle from rest to 60mph in just 5.6s, which for an SUV is damn impressive and actually a damn sight better than some sports cars. All this power is derived from a 4.3L turbocharged V6 with intercooler.
