This
acronym is very
predominant on
Slashdot or
newsgroups when
people humbly reply their
opinion in regards to the article or others. One puts IANAx before stating their position and helps the reader know that this is an
opinion and not someone from such a
field of study. It's pretty much a
disclaimer like
YMMV.
This is very much like the usage of
IMO or
IMHO.
