It can't rain all the time is the title of a song, sung by Jane Siberry. Featured on The Crow soundtrack (Reprise Records), it has a touching, yet eerily haunting melody. One can't help but think of the immortal words Sarah spoke in the movie when listening to this song.
"People once believed that when someone dies a crow carries that soul to the land of the dead. But sometimes something so bad happens that terrible sadness is carried with it. And the soul can't rest. And sometimes the crow can bring that soul back to put the wrong things right."
Every time I hear that song, I think of a particular girlfriend I had, years ago, and wonder if things have gotten better for her now. A touching song, It can't rain all the time has its moments.
