Junior Officer's Reserve Training Corps. These are found in high schools throughout the nation. They cover all branches of the United States Military (Except the Coast Guard). My school had the naval JROTC and during my first semester of my freshman year in high school, I was in it, until I got transfered, and the new school didn't have it (Dang it). It's actually a refreshing change from the crap known as P.E., for my company. The weekly schedule for us was:
The only bad thing I must say about this is that with the heavy homework load that school (it was a magnet) gave, taking the time every Wednesday evening to polish your dress shoes and belt buckle, and generally clean your uniform before drill was not amusing.
