In addition to a fairly goofy plot concerning a man who is slowly turning into a giant ant, the film featured a number of in-theater special effects, including men in rubber monster suits, an earthquake simulator, and the radioactive glories of "Atomo-Vision".
Joe Dante, who directed "Matinee", has been urged to complete "Mant" and release it as a real movie. Keep your fingers crossed...
