You can actually fit more than
74 minutes onto a 74 minute writable
compact disc (see
CD-R). This is called overburning. If you want to do this, get rid of that crappy
Adaptec software and install
Nero.
Most CD-R can actually fit about 80 minutes of audio. However, what you win in squeezeing more audio on, you lose in compatibility because crappy CD readers might have trouble making sense of your disc. So don't be too overzealous.
