letters, such that
it can be read in two different ways. Most commonly, designed so that it
reads
the same if you
rotate it
180 degrees. The word
MOW is a
natural ambigram of this sort, but usually these only work with the
stylized letters.
Invented by Douglas Hofstadter in the early 1980s.
