Also known as a
pager or
electronic leash. Basically a small electronic device that receives
radio signals and can alert you with a
message or
phone number of someone who is trying to contact you.
The beeper is has many uses.
- Used by work to wake your ass up in the middle of the night.
- Used as an excuse for your significant other to yell at you for not calling back 30 seconds after getting beeped.
- You can set it to vibrate mode and call yourself repeatedly (note location of beeper for this).
- You can drop it in the toilet.
If your company really likes (or dislikes, depending on your view of the things) you, then you may get a Blackberry.
