Camel wool became fashionable in the 60's and 70's when designers were looking for alternative fabrics to update older fasions.
One main advantage of camel wool is that it doesn't require the camel to be sheared as is done with the wool of a sheep.
Camel wool is used in
cashmere blankets, and often in coats.
