A brightly coloured, artificially flavoured raw material which is fasioned into loops and marketed as a breakfast cereal substitute.
Banned in Tasmania in Australia, and in its unprocessed form, is subject to severe trade restrictions due to its potential to be transformed into chemical weapons.

froot n. a foodstuff made of corn, rice, wheat, and/or oats; lots of sugar; natural or artificial fruit flavoring; preservatives; vitamins and minerals; and a cartoon mascot. Examples of breakfast cereals containing froot include:
