This node contains instructions for putting together a bunch of popsicle sticks in such a way that that they stay together on their own. When thrown at something, they will burst apart, ready to be put back together again and reused.

You need five popsicle sticks. Yes, that's all.

First, take two of your popsicle sticks and put them in a "V" shape, like in this beautiful ASCII diagram (All instructions are with flat sides facing you, by the way):

     V
Hold the base of the V between your thumb and forefinger. Take the third popsicle stick and put it in the middle of the V, above both the others:

Keep holding it that way. With your other hand, take the fourth popsicle stick and weave it between the others. It should be above the middle stick and below the outer sticks. Push it about halfway down the V - but not as far as it looks like it's being pushed in this incredible diagram:

 \ | /
  \ | /

Take the last stick and weave it the opposite way as the last one. You'll need to bend the sticks a bit.

If you did it right, the whole contraption should now stay together on it's own. Push the top popsicle stick as close to the top edge of the device as you dare, but leave it barely hanging on. This will make it more likely to explode, and with more force.

Finally, hold the thing at its base and throw it like a Frisbee at something. The top stick should come loose, making the whole thing come apart with a decent amount of force. Okay, maybe it isn't exactly exploding, but it's still pretty cool. You can now put it back together again and play with it as you like. Throw it at your wall, your computer, your friends! (No, really, it's a blast to throw it at your friends).
