Immunology is the practice of assisting someone's body develop and
immunity for a particular organism or virus. Under most circumstances, a patient will goto a doctor's office and get a
flu shot or a blend of
dead virii/
bacteria specially tailored to the patient's needs injected. Then, the body's immune system reacts to the dead
virii or cells by creating an
immune response and destroying them. This creates an
acquired immunity, and will fend off any further attacks by that particular virii or bacteria. Dead cells are used because they represent no harm to the patient, but are still effective in triggering an immune response.
