Caffeine intoxication is the result of taking too much caffeine at once. The official definition is as follows:

Caffeine-Induced Organic Mental Disorder 305.90 Caffeine Intoxication

1.Recent consumption of caffeine, usually in excess of 250 mg. (Over 5 Mountain Dew cans in one hour)

2.At least five of the following signs:

A.restlessness

B.nervousness

C.excitement

D.insomnia

E.flushed face

F.diuresis

G.gastrointestinal disturbance

H.muscle twitching

I.rambling flow of thought and speech

J.tachycardia or cardiac arrhythmia

K.periods of inexhaustibility

L.psychomotor agitation

M.immense creative powers

N.FUN!!FUN!!FUN!!

Okay, so I threw in those last two.

3. Not due to any physical or other mental disorder, such as an Anxiety Disorder.

I, personally, consume about twice this amount of caffeine per day, but I think you have to get your 250mg all at once to experience the above symptoms, since I usually only experience a few of them. Perhaps, though, I have grown a powerful tolerance.
