"Straight people have a preference. they know what they want. Bisexuals just take what they can get."
This was a quote a previous noder decided to share with us. He also implied that
bisexuals couldn't make up their mind as to which
gender they prefered. Although their
node no longer exists, I decided that my resonse should still be here to help explain the
mystery of
bisexuality to some people
*sigh*
I suppose, by the same
logic, that someone who eats
vegetables as well as
meat are just taking what they can get when it comes to
food? I don't think so. Might it mean that they can't make up their mind as to what they like? That doesn't sound right either, does it?
No, bisexual people
enjoy both
sexes. It doesn't mean they do it equally, because usually they don't. They can however
appreciate the
mental or
physical beauty of either
males or
females.
Thinking that
bisexuals aren't either
straight or
gay just because they can't make up their minds is rather silly as well. If you like both
cake and
pie, does it mean you can't make up your mind as to which you
really like? When presented with two choices, it's very possible to have the ability to enjoy both of them.
