The availability of
MDMA and
LSD on
the street, along with most of the other "alphanumeric drugs" (e.g.
2C-B,
2C-T-7,
4-Acetoxy-DiPT,
5-MeO-DiPT,
5-MeO-DMT, pretty much
everything mentioned in
PiHKAL and
TiHKAL) means one thing:
Chemistry graduate students gone bad.
These drugs are NOT easy to make. A synthesizer must have extensive experience in highly complex chemical reactions, laboratory procedure, etc.
So, basically, there are a lot of very, very smart chemistry students out there who have found a fun way to supplement their income. Or pay off their loans.
