An extremely underappreciated Australian band emerging from Melbourne. The band: Adam Donovan - guitar, Edmend Ammendola - bass, David Williams - drums, backing vocals and Glenn Richards - lead vocals, guitar, songwriter. Their music is hard to describe but "folk rock" seems to be the general consensus. Glenn Richard's voice is haunting and expressive, turning those poetic lyrics into something truely beautiful. As live performers they are amazing, effortlessly moving from quiet, atmospheric, melodic moments to powerful, emotional jamming.
Their first EP hadn't received a tremendous amount of airplay but when a song from their second EP hit Triple J, many an Australian fell in love. Asleep In Perfection was the song, and since then it seems it's all been uphill, their first album (Sunset Studies) being received with open arms by critics, radio and fans alike.
