Five o'Clock People (person)

Five o'Clock People are a Christian band rumored to be from Gresham, Oregon. They are:

• Alex Walker: vocals, guitar, accordion, percussion, wurlitzer
• Drew Grow: vocals, guitar, wurlitzer
• Patrick Tetreault: vocals, guitar, violin, mandolin, harmonica
• Kris Doty: upright bass (joined the band for their fifth album, The Nothing Venture)
• Andy Uppendahl: drums, percussion

Although their music is generally described as alternative, the style is definitely unique. The mix of violin, mandolin, accordian and three vocalists is not one often found.

The band self-released four albums prior to signing with producer Joe Chicarelli of Pamplin. Their released albums are as follows:

• Five O'Clock People: self-released, 1996.
• Blame Taker: self-released, 1997.
• Fall: self-released, 1998.
• Tripping the Spindley Distractive: self-released, (no date info). Contains only re-releases of previous songs on the first two albums, which are out of print.
• The Nothing Venture: Pamplin, 1999.
• In the Bleak Midwinter: Pamplin, 2000.
