I'm going to
Massachusetts again this weekend, to see
Dar Williams -- or, at least, that's the plan. A few weeks ago I went over a bump of some sort -- OK, I drove,
intentionally, over a curb, because I was
stupid -- and since then it's taken a Herculean effort to keep the car moving in a straight line.
Why can't it ever be something simple? I was prepared for an alignment. $60, maybe $100 tops if I needed a new tire due to rounding compensation.

The right
control arm has apparently been horribly, horribly damaged. Apparently if I'd kept driving, eventually the wheel'd fall off, or something equally
dire.
