Save Albert Park (around the time more development was going on for the Australian Grand Prix), often used in anti-logging protests, in protest of cutting down trees along streetscapes, or just about any time trees are about to be cut down ...

Blue and White Checked Ribbon

To honour the 136 police who have been killed – 29 of them murdered – while serving the community. Organised and promoted by a community-based council, the memorial day (29 September) has grown out of the spontaneous show of public support for police following the murders of Sergeant Gary Silk and Senior Constable Rod Miller in Moorabbin in August 1998.
